Pumped storage power plants face many challenges in competing the electricity market, and high pumping costs lead to prices for their generation, which is one of important factors that has limited development. To address this problem, paper studies pumped two-part tariff mechanism considering wind accommodation uses peak-valley price difference realize rationality economy a charging discharging strategy. It can improve competitiveness participating market transactions. Then, by economic advantages “pumped + clean energy”, joint optimal dispatching model was established based on original pricing method. This takes total system cost reduction after introduction as objective function derive reasonable After which, formulated principle revenue. Finally, sensitivity analysis various relevant parameters plant conducted through case verify effectiveness storage. found lowest when ratio capacity upper reservoir 1:6.37 (MW/million m3).
